Kader Gaidien - Director in charge of all technical
aspects including site management, occupational
health & safety, production, quality control, and
workforce management.
Kader, 40, is a carpenter by trade. Having trained
at Slingsby & de Jager as an apprentice and then
gone on to manage numerous building sites during his
10 year tenure at Slingsby & de Jager, Kader
accumulated the necessary skill and experience
required to procure and manage diverse building
contracts efficiently and effectively. His calm
demeanor and cautious air has proved invaluable in
bringing contracts to their timeous conclusion,
while an exacting professionalism and “get it right
first time” philosophy helps to minimize defects
when handing over contracts.
Kader is also in possession of a National N3
Certificate in Industrial Electronics.
John Slingsby - Commercial Director in charge of
administration, business procurement, tendering,
cost control, marketing, and contractual issues.
John is a qualified Quantity Surveyor from UCT.
After working as a site contract surveyor abroad, he
returned to South Africa to join the family firm of
Slingsby & de Jager. During the ensuing 8 years,
John & Kader worked together on many successful
projects, forging a strong and mutually respectful
bond of friendship in the process. They soon
realized the inherent power of their professional
compatibility; their combined ability to deliver a
quality project – due in large part to Kader’s
experience – which remained within budget – down to
John’s skills as a QS – enabled them to continuously
delight their professional teams and guarantee
client satisfaction. |
