An apartment building in Hasting Street (R 7 million) and a villa on Kenrock Estate, Hout Bay (R 8 million)

Biggest / most challenging project

Alterations and additions to the Cape Heritage Hotel, where alterations had to be carried out whilst sections of the building continued trading, including restaurants and the hotel itself. Contract value = R 3 million / Duration of contract = 3 months.

Proudest moment

John and Kader introduce John’s Grandfather, founder of Slingsby & de Jager circa 1945, to the newly built premises of Slingsby & Gaidien Construction in 2005.
